Of drowned applicants – What the chances of survival on the Titanic have to do with recruiting

In the recent past there has been an accumulation of artificial intelligences that have been inadvertently discriminatory. The astonishing is that these were not developed by smaller companies, who had little access to good data scientists, but by the currently largest tech companies in the world.

So what does all this have to do with the Titanic? In this talk I want to shed light on the reasons for discriminatory AI and at the same time show possible solutions.
