Discussion: Bridging the gap between academia and real-world AI

An increasing number of companies have started to turn AI research works into business models in recent years. There is, however, still a big gap between academia and real-world requirements. In this session, we will discuss how to bridge this gap, so that AI adds more value to companies. We will specifically discuss what modern AI curricula need to include. We will also share success stories of joint industry-university R&D projects.
